Abstract
Sharing knowledge, practices and ideas is at the heart of our movement. We want to find new possibilities in doing this.
Wikimedia Sverige is initiating an exchange program for volunteers and staff all across Europe (to start with), where spending time with different affiliates is at the core. A small group of people spend 3-5 days in a country before travelling to the next destination, learning from several contexts for about 3 weeks. Will you travel or receive participants? Come join!
Session Outcomes
- Sharing knowledge on what the Grand Tour of Europe is all about
- Engaging partners that are interested in participating, as travelers as well as receivers
- Get the minds going on making concrete plans
Think about while watching
- How can these ideas be made into concrete action? Brainstorm around programs, structure and priorities.
- Define what would be needed to participate in the exchange program, both as travelling and receiving part
- Talk to others that are interested in participating, creating bonds that will be strengthened as the project progresses.
