Wikipedia is a free encyclopedia and open educational resource that connects writers and editors to diversified multilingual communities all around the world. Now, It has become a serious concern for research scholars to analyze and identify the quantity and quality of articles. This paper reviews the various researches on editing and improving the articles, using Wikipedia as a source for research and academic purpose.
