2024:Editing Challenge/Rules
Contest rules in a nutshell
- edited articles should be thematically related to Silesia. In order to avoid discussions regarding the historical borders of Silesia, as well as taking into account that WIKIMANIA takes place in the capital of the Silesian Voivodeship - Katowice, it was assumed that the following will be taken into account in the contest:
- articles describing places (buildings, parks, monuments, cities, districts...) or objects (monuments, works of art...) located in the current Silesian Voivodeship,
- biographies of people born, active or associated in any other way with the area of the current Silesian Voivodeship,
- customs, rituals, traditions, dishes, works, literary works and other elements of intangible or tangible heritage, related in any way to the area of the current Silesian Voivodeship.
- written in accordance with Wikipedia's rules and guidelines (including adding footnotes and encyclopedic nature),
- having at least 2 kB of content,
- which were added to the list of entries during the contest round.
