According to w:en:Guido Mine and Coal Mining Museum, the Guido mine is a historic deep coal mine and museum in Zabrze and an object of cultural heritage inscribed in the registry of the Silesian Voivodeship (A/1342/87 z 1987-02-26) and a cultural monument in Poland (ID 641754).

Sightseeing of the Guido coal mine involves getting 320 meters underground. Tour duration is 2,5 hours.

Let's join the 11:30 English-language guided tour to level 320. Select the Guido in English option at the museum shop.

Meeting point: Katowice railway station info-point at 10:20 to catch the 10:31 train to Zabrze, followed by a 2 km walk (local bus 7 also available, 3 stops).

    I'm no expert but I think the museum knows what they're doing so they'll close it if there's any risk. This mine closed over 60 years ago, I'd expect it had time to settle down. It might be affected by subsidence from other underground operations nearby, but if I read fig. 4 of doi:10.1007/s40789-022-00541-w correctly Zabrze is outside the areas confirmed to be affected by subsidence in the 1992–2012 period.
