Before You Arrive

1. Visa Requirements: Kenya is a visa-free country for tourists. All you need to do is apply for the electronic travel form (ETA) before your planned travel online through this link. It is necessary to apply at least 3 days before your trip, but ideally, apply 2 weeks in advance to allow for processing and any potential delays. The application can be submitted up to 90 days before your trip.
2. Vaccinations and Health:
   • Yellow fever vaccination is mandatory for travelers from endemic regions. We advise you to get the yellow fever shot at least 72 hours before travel to avoid any inconveniences.
   • While Nairobi is not a malaria-prone region. In case you plan to visit coastal Kenya e.g. Mombasa or Diani as well, you need not to worry as these areas are also not a malaria prone regions as well.
3. Travel Insurance: Ensure your travel insurance covers health emergencies and personal belongings if your travel is self-sponsored.
